Arduino VirtualWire

The Arduino community continues to wow me! Check out this tutorial for using the VirtualWire libraries to communicate between two Arduino controllers over distance. The author uses it to send messages from an Arduino in his basement to another on the roof of his house. Pretty slick and much more lightweight (though perhaps slightly slower) than the XBee.
